Sokaris in Ancient Egypt was the falcon God and the patron of the living, mainly the workers who built the necropolis and the craftsmen who made tomb artifacts. He is often found pictured on royal tomb walls.
He was depicted as a hawk-headed mummy with a Was sceptre (representing power), a flail and a crook. He usually stands on a mound a wears a sun disc, cows horns and the regal cobras. As a falcon deity, he is often related to Horus.
